Last night, the BCBL had the pleasure of welcoming its members to the Annual New Year’s Reception at the Ambassador’s Residence. We are grateful to all our member companies for their continued engagement and support throughout 2025.

During the event, we had the pleasure of hearing a speech from H.E. Mr Jean-Louis Thill, Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in Belgium, who shared valuable insights into Luxembourg’s economic priorities and outlook. In particular, he highlighted the shared ambition to further deepen economic integration between Belgium and Luxembourg, notably in a number of priority sectors such as technology, logistics, digital services, finance, HealthTech, artificial intelligence, and the defence industry. He also underlined the importance of strengthening exchanges of expertise between Belgian and Luxembourg clusters in order to foster innovation and attract new investments.

We were also thrilled to introduce our newest Board Member, Luc Haesaerts, CEO of H³ LUXEMBOURG s.à.r.l.  whose experience and perspective will undoubtedly enrich the BCBL community.

Guests had the opportunity to hear introductions from our newest members: thomas leclerc, from LSC360, Nic Sterckx, from Morgan Philips Group, Julien Ceuterick, from CoCEPTIO, Olivier Mathelot-Orban, from Schaffhausen Partners (Akkodis) and Stéphane Ries, from LuxTrust S.A., whose presentations highlighted innovation and expertise across our network.

The reception concluded with remarks from our esteemed President, Rik Vandenberghe, who outlined the BCBL’s priorities and perspectives for the year ahead, emphasizing collaboration, growth, and shared success.

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who contributed prizes for the tombola, which allowed every guest to leave with a gift. Generous prizes were kindly offered by MONDORF Domaine Thermal, Motel One Group, Luxembourg Art Week, Cargolux Airlines, Luxlait, AquaNat'Our, Bargello by Gelato Gourmet and Barry-Wehmiller, and with the contribution of the BCBL, by Julian's Lounge - The Concept (Olivia Hoshi) and the Brasserie Nationale S.A..

As we reflect on our achievements, it is worth noting the growth in our membership and the increasing number of events we organize. The dynamic atmosphere of our New Year’s Reception sets a positive tone for the year ahead, as we look forward to a year of fruitful collaboration and success.

We are already looking forward to an exciting programme of BCBL events in 2026.
