The Brasserie Nationale is a family-owned Luxembourgish company with a history of over 250 years, dating back to 1764 in the Grund district of Luxembourg City. This is where it all began, with the first brewing activities laying the foundation for a craft passed down from generation to generation. Today, based in Bascharage, the brewery produces iconic brands such as Bofferding, Battin, and Funck-Bricher, all deeply rooted in the national heritage. Built on this long-standing tradition, the company combines passion, quality, and innovation to offer authentic beers brewed with pure Luxembourgish water and carefully selected ingredients. Still independent and family-run, the National Brewery is proud to represent Luxembourg through its products, while also committed to sustainable development and supporting the local economy.
