New data, new decisions: How Luxembourg scale-ups deliver insights that reshape how companies act
On September 15, the Entrepreneurs in Residence (EiR) programme convened in Belgium, bringing together three innovative Luxembourg scale-ups—Videobot, AIRMO, and ClimateCamp—for an exclusive roundtable and working lunch with corporate executives at the Residence of the Luxembourg Ambassador in Brussels.
The central discussion explored a pivotal business question: what happens when companies get access to data they never had before, and how does it change the way they act?
Each of the three companies brought a distinct angle:
Videobot (Customer engagement data): Unlike traditional analytics that merely track clicks and views, Videobot unlocks a new layer of intelligence—revealing precisely how customers interact with interactive video content. Its SaaS platform fuses short-form video with chatbot technology to generate granular insights on viewer intent, drop-off patterns, and conversion triggers, giving companies the clarity they need to redesign customer journeys and allocate marketing resources with confidence.
AIRMO (Environmental emissions data): Where conventional monitoring falls short, AIRMO delivers. By deploying cutting-edge instruments across drones, aircraft, and satellites, it produces precise, source-level methane emissions data that traditional reporting methods simply cannot replicate. Energy companies gain the ability to quantify operational risks, prioritize maintenance, and demonstrate full compliance with the EU Methane Regulation—grounded in measured reality, not estimates.
ClimateCamp (Supply chain sustainability data): Trusted by over 800 companies—predominantly in the food and beverage industry—ClimateCamp transforms how organizations understand their carbon footprint across complex supplier networks. Its collaborative SaaS platform surfaces where emissions are truly concentrated, empowering companies to make targeted reduction decisions and meet both CSRD and SBTi requirements with confidence, backed by primary data rather than industry averages.
Earlier in the day, we were welcomed by the Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to Belgium @Jean-Louis Thill for a networking breakfast, where we connected with a dynamic delegation of five Belgian startups that previously participated in Nexus (PropEase, Auditstage, Emasphere, AILOS, Digiteal), fostering dialogue about opportunities within the Luxembourg ecosystem.
This EiR visit was made possible by the Ministère de l'Économie - Luxembourg, with the support of the Embassy of Luxembourg in Belgium, and the Business Club Belgium Luxembourg, and facilitated by Startup Luxembourg.
