Luxembourg transposes the digitalisation directive
The Luxembourg Parliament passed bill number 7968 on 15 June 2023, with the objective of incorporating the provisions of the Directive (EU) 2019/1151 issued by the European Parliament and the Council on 20 June 2019. This directive modifies Directive (EU) 2017/1132, focusing on the utilization of digital tools and procedures in company law. Additionally, the bill aims to facilitate the digitalization of the notarial profession.
