The BCBL members are invited to join a conference held on Thursday 16 March 2023 organised by the Embassy of Luxembourg in Belgium.

As part of the 25th anniversary of the Maison du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg, the Ambassador invites you to a discussion on the figure of Aline Mayrisch-de Saint-Hubert, in the presence of Mrs Germaine Goetzinger, author of the book "Aline Mayrisch-de Saint-Hubert. Ein Frauenleben im Spannungsfeld von Feminismus, sozialem Engagement und Literatur" (A Woman's Life between Feminism, Social Commitment and Literature). (Ed. Binsfeld 2022).

This discussion will be an opportunity to compare the history of Belgian and Luxembourgish feminist struggles, and to identify how historical feminist research feeds into current struggles.

The conference will be held in French.
