Luxembourg achieves the second-best EU record with a notable -12% reduction in CO2 emissions
According to Eurostat's latest estimates, the European Union accomplished a significant 2.8% reduction in CO2 emissions from fossil fuel combustion in 2022 compared to the previous year. Among the EU countries, Luxembourg stood out with the second largest decrease in CO2 emissions, demonstrating commendable progress in combating climate change.
